At some point in your child’s life, he or she will be a picky eater. That means anything that doesn’t resemble a cupcake just won’t be eaten. But if you’ve got a picky eater on your hand now, you’re in luck. We’ve found the perfect ruse to get your child to eat up! The dinnertime stand-off ends now with this playful turkey meatloaf recipe.

Basically, you’re going to make a nutritious meal that looks exactly like a cupcake. We got this great idea from chef enthusiast El Guzii.

To get started, you’ll need to coat one and 1/4 pound of ground turkey with some panko bread crumbs, one egg, one clove of garlic, half a cup of shredded carrots, half a cup of onion, 1/4 cup of ketchup, one tablespoon of worchestire sauce sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Now for the fun part! Line a cupcake pan with liners and scoop about two tablespoons of the meat into each. Then, pop them into the oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.

As they cool, make the “icing.” The icing is actually mashed potatoes! You’ll want to use some diced bell peppers as sprinkles, and there you have it.

The kids are absolutely going to love this — even if you don’t have a picky eater. Try this out this week for dinner or at your next kid-friendly get together!
